Blog about how to build and maintain a blog using WordPress free blog platform.

If you’re looking to build a blog of your own, I strongly recommend WordPress.org over WordPress.com because it gives you greater flexibility.

However, there are a few things you should be aware of beforehand.

WordPress is the best and easiest way to make a blog. When I started to learn how to make a blog, I needed a step-by-step guide like this one.

There are quite a few guides on installing WordPress free blog on the internet, so why create another guide?

WordPress is so much more than just a blog, but you have to understand how it works to get to know it. If you were to go out into the world without understanding how things work, you would be less successful.

Installing WordPress on your website is a straightforward process.

However, there are different ways to do this, and the recommended method is to change your web host. The recommended way is to use a CDN and installing a WordPress Plugin called WP Super Cache.

With the popularity of blogging, there are thousands of hosts offering cheap hosting packages.

However, many of these packages do not provide adequate support, security, or performance.

We recommend Bluehost and A2 Hosting.

1.) Bluehost:

2.) A2 Hosting:

If done on your own, it can take much longer, but it’s free!

This tutorial is an overview of the whole process.

WordPress Blog Setup

1. Install the WordPress software

This is the easy part. You can download a WordPress install file directly from wordpress.org. Click the link at the bottom of the page that says, “Download WordPress.”

Then, follow the instructions from wordpress.org to automatically install WordPress on your hosting. (Then, when you’re done, click “Log In” at the top left of the WordPress site and click on “Appearance” under “Widgets” in the right sidebar.)

2. Configure WordPress

Now that you have WordPress installed, you’ll want to configure it. The “Settings” tab is where you’ll set your general blog settings.

You can enter your blog name, tagline, description, and email address. Also, you’ll enter your blog URL, which is the address that directs people to your blog.

Next, you’ll want to select the “Reading” tab. This is where you’ll enter all the pages that will appear in your blog’s list. For example, if you have an “About” page, enter that page’s URL here.

Also, in the “Reading” tab, you should enter your blog’s categories. After that, click on the “Categories” tab. You can join a list of all the categories you want your blog to display under “Categories” on the left and then assign posts to each category in the right column.

3. Install plugins

WordPress has a lot of features, and many of them aren’t free. If you’re going to be blogging regularly, you’re going to want to install some plugins.

Some of the most fantastic plugins offer features that can save you time and make you money. For example, the “SEO by Yoast” plugin gives you an “SEO analysis” box.
